Site 13 - Combe Down Oolite

Walk into the woods behind the car park towards the blue marker post,
(GPS N 51o23.755' W 002o17.544').

The rocks here are the topmost Combe Down Oolite and the features to note are the very well preserved burrows and the complex cross bedding shown on the left hand side of the face. Both are illustrated in the photos.
